We have been at the forefront of advising on innovative public transport initiatives such as the establishment of integrated rapid public transport networks in major municipalities, advising on the regulation of new transport technologies, such as e-haling, and advising on the regulatory framework and means to promote the use of carpooling.
We have also successfully represented clients before the Provincial Regulatory Entity and the Transport Appeal Tribunal and have appeared before Parliament to make representations on amendments to the National Land Transport Act.
We have represented both the public (provincial and local) and private sector in road-based public transport matters, and we have also advised financial institutions engaged in the financing of minibuses and other taxis.
Related to aviation specifically, our experience includes drafting the Airport Slots Co-ordination Regulations and engaging with key regulators, including the Civil Aviation Authority. We have also represented the South African aviation industry in Parliamentary hearings on the draft Civil Aviation Bill.
