- the national, provincial and local government regulation of foodstuffs, including import and export control, hazards to food safety, business licences and public health permits in terms of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, Marketing of Agricultural Products Act and other relevant provincial and local government laws;
