Our CSI programme is centred around four pillars:
financial donations to beneficiaries; in-kind support to social justice organisations, once-off donations to aligned causes, and
outreach activities.
Our CSI Programme supports structures and organisations that work closely with people’s everyday problems and attempt to secure their access to justice on an individual basis, and in a more immediate way. Hence, our CSI programme is centred around four pillars:
-
Financial donations to beneficiaries such as Black Sash, Cape Mental Health, HURISA, Lawyers against Abuse, ProBono.Org, SA Society of Labour Law and Social Change Assistance Trust.
-
In-kind support to social justice organisations in the form of providing venue facilities to various social justice organisation for AGM meetings etc.
-
Once-off donations to aligned causes such as the Kolisi Foundation and Gift of the Givers.
-
Outreach activities for and with organisations such as United Way, Ladles of Love, The Justice Desk, Thandanani Children's Foundation, Reach For A Dream Foundation, Home of Hope for Girls, Safe Study Kids, Brave and Seed 2 Harvest.
In 2021, our CSI Programme supported greater access to justice by making monetary donations to initiatives such as free online laws accessible to all, a free helpline that assists with queries about social grants, the employment of a full-time attorney to provide labour law advice for free, and projects that provide free psycho-social and legal support to victims of gender-based violence.
