Global Antitrust Enforcement Index 2024

Webber Wentzel has collaborated with Linklaters on a publication analysing global antitrust enforcement trends from 2021 to 2023. The report highlights five significant trends observed across Asia, Europe, and the US, providing insights to help companies navigate the evolving regulatory landscape.

Since the pandemic, global antitrust enforcement has surged, with steep increases in investigations, dawn raids and fines. As cost-of-living concerns gain prominence, enforcement priorities have shifted, affecting how investigations are conducted, the sectors being investigated and the impact this will have on companies (including penalty types, leniency options and risk of private enforcement).
