Webber Wentzel is pleased to announce it has appointed Nametsegang Maruping, a strategic and seasoned human resources executive with multi-industry global experience, as its new Human Resources Director.
Nametsegang, who has worked in multinational organisations across different industries including IT, financial, pharmaceutical, FMCG, and state-owned enterprises, will assist the firm in creating and nurturing an agile environment that engages, develops and promotes its people.
She was previously Group Executive, Human Capital at Altron, where she was accountable for human capital across all the divisions. In total, she spent four years at Altron, previously filling the role of Head of Human Capital at Altron Rest of Africa, a division of the group, where she was instrumental in creating human capital policies, structures and processes to embed a values-based organisational culture. She was also responsible for leading and providing human capital strategic oversight across Africa and the Middle East. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology & Industrial Sociology from the University of the Witwatersrand, and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
