Ayanda Ngubo and Hielien Venter have both re-joined Webber Wentzel as partners.
Ayanda Ngubo has joined the
Pro Bono team to help deliver on its mandate to provide free legal services to poor and/or vulnerable members of the public. She specialises in civil law and matters relating to socio-economic rights with a focus on HIV and gender discrimination. Ayanda has substantial experience in matters relating to access to justice, administrative law, traditional authorities and constitutional law. She has assisted various non-profit organisations to incorporate as non-profit companies, trusts or non-profit organisations with the Department of Social Development. Ayanda has also helped several non-profit organisations to re-structure for effective governance and has gained vast experience in the healthcare sector.
Hielien Venter has joined the
Projects team and specialises in project development and finance, as well as commercial and contractual law, with extensive front-end experience within the construction and engineering sectors. She assists clients on complex corporate and commercial transactions, including drafting, advising and negotiating the full suite of agreements applicable to the development and implementation of energy and infrastructure projects.
