In 2016, Mineral Commodities Limited (MCL) and Mark Caruso issued summons against Mzamo Dlamini and Cormac Cullinan for a number of defamation claims in the Western Cape High Court under case number 14658/2016. MCL, Mr Dlamini and Mr Cullinan have entered into an agreement, the terms of which are confidential, in terms of which MCL’s claims have been settled. The agreement does not include a settlement of Mr Caruso’s claims against Mr Dlamini and Mr Cullinan.

MCL and Mr Clarke have entered into an agreement, the terms of which are confidential, in terms of which MCL’s claims against Mr Clarke have been settled. The agreement does not include a settlement of Mr Caruso’s claims against Mr Clarke.
In 2017, Mineral Sands Resources (Pty) Limited and Zamile Qunya issued summons against Christine Reddell, Tracey Davies and Davine Cloete for a number of defamation claims in the Western Cape High Court under case number 7595/2017. The parties have entered into an agreement, the terms of which are confidential, in terms of which all the claims have been settled.
